Itinerary

Day 1 :
Tirana

After the airport pickup & Hotel Check-in we will start the journey at Skanderbeg Square, the central plaza of Tirana. Take in the statue of national hero Skanderbeg and the vibrant atmosphere. Then we will Visit the House of Leaves, Albania’s Museum of Secret Surveillance, for a glimpse into the country's recent past from the communist era. Then we will try traditional Albanian cuisine at a nearby restaurant for authentic dishes like Fërgesë and Tavë Kosi.

In the afternoon we will Explore Blloku, the trendy district once reserved for the communist elite. Now, it’s a bustling area full of cafes, boutiques, and nightlife. Then Spend a relaxing afternoon at the Grand Park. Enjoy a leisurely walk around the artificial lake, visit the Botanical Garden, or simply unwind in the green spaces.

Later in the evening we will end the day with dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants in Blloku.

Day 2 :
Tirana

After breakfast, we will start the day by driving up Dajti Mountain, Once at the top, we will explore the hiking trails, enjoy the fresh mountain air, or try activities like horseback riding. Have lunch at one of the restaurants on Dajti Mountain, offering panoramic stunning views and delicious food. Then we will Take a ride on the Dajti Ekspres cable car to back to Tirana enjoying panoramic views of Tirana as we descend.

Descend back to the city and visit the National History Museum. Spend about an hour exploring its exhibits, which showcase Albania's rich history from ancient times to the present day. Then we will Visit the newly renovated Pyramid of Tirana, an iconic and controversial structure, explore its surroundings and learn about its history.

In the vening we will head to the New Bazaar area, a lively market district with colorful stalls selling fresh produce, local delicacies, and handicrafts.
Enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants or eateries around the bazaar, for seafood or for traditional Albanian grilled meats.

10:00: Arrival in Berat
We will begin our visit at the Berat Castle (Kalaja e Beratit). Explore the ancient fortress, which offers stunning views of the city and houses within its walls.

11:30: Onufri Iconographic Museum
Located within the castle grounds, this museum is housed in a former church and displays beautiful Byzantine art and icons.

12:30: Walk through Mangalem and Gorica Quarters
Stroll through the historic Mangalem and Gorica neighborhoods. Cross the Gorica Bridge and take in the iconic view of Berat’s white Ottoman houses climbing up the hill.
